1. General Information

• Owner: Maison de Beaumont is owned and operated by Wim Verhaegen
• Location: Maison de Beaumont, 5 Rue de Vinzac 24440 Beaumontois en Périgord, Dordogne, France.
• Accommodation: Our property offers three exclusive rooms, each with different features and pricing, as detailed on our website
• Age Requirement: Guests must be 14 years or older to stay at Maison de Beaumont  

2. Reservations & Payment

• Booking Process: Reservations can be made via our website or by contacting us directly.
• Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Carte Bancaire (CB). Additionally, we also accept payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay. All payments are securely processed through Stripe, a trusted third-party payment provider known for its robust encryption and security features.
• We do not accept payments by cheque.
• Deposits for Phone and Email Reservations: For reservations made by phone or email, a deposit of 30% will be charged to your credit card via our terminal. A receipt will be sent to you by email once the payment has been processed.
• Booking Confirmation: A booking is only considered confirmed once we have received a deposit of 30%. The remaining balance is due upon check-out and can be paid using the same payment methods listed above.
• Pricing: All rates include breakfast unless stated otherwise. Rates may vary based on seasonality and availability. Please consult our website for the latest rates.
• Minimum Stay: A minimum stay of two nights is required.
• Discounts: A 10% discount applies for stays of three nights or longer

3. Cancellations and Modifications Policy

3.1 Cancellations

• 30+ days before arrival: The deposit is fully refunded.
• Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund of the deposit.
• Less than 7 days before arrival: An additional 25% of the total stay cost is charged to the credit card.
• Less than 48 hours before arrival: The full stay amount is charged.
• Cancellations during the stay: Nights not spent are non-refundable. However, if the canceled nights are rebooked for an equal or higher rate, a refund will be issued for the rebooked nights.

3.1 Modifications

Changes to your booking, including date changes, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges

3.2 No Show

The full amount for the stay may be charged. A "no show" is considered to be when a guest has not arrived by 10 PM on the arrival date without prior notification.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-In Time: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
• Check-Out Time: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.

5. House Rules

• No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Guests may smoke in designated outdoor areas only.
• Noise: We kindly ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM to respect other guests' comfort.
• Pets: We do not accept pets on the premises with the exception of guide dogs for the visually impaired.
• Liability: Maison de Beaumont is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused during your stay.

6. Wedding Guests

To maintain a peaceful atmosphere for our other guests, we do not accept reservations from individuals attending weddings

7. EV Charging Station

• Charges: Our on-site 22 kWh EV charging station is available for guests at a nominal fee. Please inquire at reception for more details.
• Usage: The charging station is for guest use only. Charging times are subject to availability.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

• Guest Data: We collect personal data necessary for the processing of bookings and guest services. This data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
• Security: All guest data is stored securely, in compliance with GDPR regulations.

9. Force Majeure

Maison de Beaumont is not liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or other events beyond our control.

10. Accessibility

Due to the layout of the building, we regret that Maison de Beaumont is not wheelchair accessible.
